What is the difference between general HTML5 Ads and Responsive Ads?

In the advertising industry there are many different types and categories of ads.   HTML5 ads usually refers to a technology where as Native or mobile refer to a specific type of ads.

Responsive Ads can be considered a specific type of ads that use HTML5, CSS and Javascript technology to produce these ads.   Namely, a responsive ad is made from a responsive creative that has multiple shapes associated with the creative for different screen resolutions.     HTML5 ads could be consider to do the same thing, whereas a real differentiator is the ability for the ad to completely fluid to fit an unlimited amount of sizes and shapes.
